Sometimes it seems the work of a lawyer is never done. You dive into your studies, work long hours in your practice and yet you also must complete the minimum number of mandatory continuing legal education (CLE) credits for your jurisdiction either annually or biennially. It can be a challenge to stay on top of it all, but your CLE is incredibly important for you and your firm.

In an environment where the law is always evolving, the high standards of the legal profession require that lawyers and law firms keep up with changes. Many attorneys enjoy the educational opportunity that CLE offers to better themselves, but CLEs can offer many benefits beyond instruction, including networking, mentorship and community.

CLE is also very important from a risk management perspective. CLE can offer instruction that address timely malpractice and ethics issues, which may help lawyers avoid pitfalls that could otherwise sink a career or a practice.

At Lockton Affinity, we’re proud of having built an extensive network of carrier partners who are attentive to the CLE needs of legal professionals, among them, Attorney Protective. We are pleased to share the Attorney Protective series of free, 60-minute CLE webinars for lawyers.

Seven CLE webinars have been held so far this year, with two more scheduled for the remainder of 2019:
